KURASEWICH, 1934 - 2006 Mr. Mike Kurasewich of Red Deer, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Mike was born in Mundare, Alberta on August 20, 1934 where he was raised. He moved to Red Deer in 1981 where he worked as a gas plant maintenance operator for thirty years. Mike loved the outdoors especially travelling to the mountains, fishing, gardening and he enjoyed flowers. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Lissa (Pat) Strong and Darcel (Troy) Bakke both of Red Deer and his brother, Walter Kurasewich of Grassland, Alberta. Mike is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as Mike's daughters' mother, Rose (Terry) Topolnitsky of Red Deer. He is predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Anton Kurasewich and his brother, Joseph Kurasewich. A Public Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
