KUTT Mrs. Mary Kutt passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Manor on Saturday, November 4, 2006. She was born to immigrant parents in 1915 in Duvernay, Alberta. There she married a country school teacher and they happily went from one school division to another, going from Duvernay to Torrington to Drumheller to Edmonton and a few points in between, finally arriving in Red Deer after retirement. In each of those communities she was heavily involved in the United Church and its activities as well as the schools and communities she lived in. Mary will be remembered by her vitality, generosity and big smile. She was especially fond of her five grandchildren and showered them with much kindness and love. Mary was predeceased in 1998 by her husband of 63 years, William Kutt, sisters; Elsie, Selina and Donna, brothers; Nicholas and William. She leaves behind, one son, Maurice (Lynda) Kutt of Norman, Oklahoma, and one daughter, Iris (Don) Gray of Red Deer. She also leaves to mourn, granddaughters; Shayna of Oklahoma and Dawna of Vancouver, British Columbia, grandsons; Douglas, Darryl and Robert of Central Alberta, great granddaughters; Harper of Norman, Oklahoma and Kailyn of Nacogdoches, Texas and great grandsons; Matthew and Kevin of Penhold, sisters; Rose, Joyce and Gloria as well as several sisters-in-law she was especially fond of.
