LANDSIEDEL

February 25, 2005

LANDSIEDEL On February 20, 2005, our beloved and cherished Wendel Alan Landsiedel died tragically at the age of 45. Wendel's passions and sometimes obsessions were his family, friends, camping, his pond and the Rev Master's Car Club. His endless enthusiasm made him a magnet to children and adults of all ages. We all enjoyed his wit, his artistic abilities, his endless pranks and his willingness to clown around, even at the expense of himself. Wendel was a giving and generous person to all those he knew, even a stranger. Wendel loved to visit with everyone he knew. He always took the time to give you more than just a "hello". A guy of many talents, he'd try everything once (sometimes twice). He loved landscaping, and he turned his backyard into a miniature ecosystem. Many of his photos are magazine-worthy. Every job he undertook was done to the best of his ability, with exceptional skill. Nothing worth doing was beneath his dignity, everyone he dealt with was treated with respect. Wendel is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; his two beautiful girls, Linlee and Carli, his son Branden; his loving mother Gwen; his brother Daryl and sister-in-law Carol, nephew Tharen, niece Sawyer; the girl who will always be in his heart, sister-in-law Brenda, brother-in-law Brian, niece Stacy, nephew Dale. Wendel was the number-one fan of sister-in-law Laurie and brother-in-law Brad; sister-in-law Barb, brother-in-law Paul, nephew Byron; mother-in-law Alice Bray; and brother-in-law Calvin; also to many relatives and friends too numerous to mention. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to may donate to Stars Air Ambulance. Service is to be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, #6 McMillan Ave., Red Deer, on Friday the 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Alto Reste Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will also be a memorial to be held at the Bentley Community Hall on Dick Damron Drive on February 26 at 4:00 p.m. WILSON'S FUNERAL CHAPEL Serving Central Alberta with locations in Lacombe and Rimbey in charge of the arrangements.
