LANE 1950 – 2007 Edith (Edie) Jessie Lane fulfilled her journey on earth and began her next adventure in Heaven on July 9, 2007 at the age of 57 years. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer but passed away peacefully in her children’s arms at the Red Deer Hospital. Edie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Edie McInnes of Blackfalds, Duncan Landry of Lethbridge, Stephan Landry of Blackfalds and Marrianne Landry of British Columbia, as well as her grandchildren, Ashtin & Alissa McInnes of Blackfalds and Odhinn & Manannan Landry of Lethbridge. Edie is also survived by two sisters and a brother all of British Columbia. She was predeceased by her parents, one brother and her special grandson, Aarin Jordan Landry. A celebration of Edie’s life will be held at the Blackfalds Community Fellowship Church, 5005 East Railway Street, Blackfalds, AB on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Edie’s memory may be made to the D.T.H.R.
