It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Jean Dool Pedersen announces her passing at the age of 99. Laura was born on February 27th, 1919 in Edmonton, Alberta and passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2018 at Spruce Cottage in Lacombe, Alberta.
Laura is known to everyone as Gramma and will be lovingly remembered by her son Bill Dool, daughter Donna (Orest) Litwin, daughter-in-law Judy (Ed) Kanngiesser, grandchildren John (Brenda), Leslie, Larry (Laura), Gayle (Jason), Colin (Raeann), Dwayne (Monika), Pam (Tim) and 11 great grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by her husband Alvin Dool, husband Carl Pedersen, daughter Viola Landmandel, son Don Dool and grandson Sheldon Dool.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Lacombe on Friday, November 9th at 1:00p.m. followed by a family and friends gathering at the Lacombe Legion Hall, 5138-49 Street, Lacombe, at 2:00p.m.
