Laura passed away peacefully at Red Deer Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Ernie.
She is survived by her children: Cecil Rilling (Josephine Hamelin) and Shirley (Dennis) Marriott; her two brothers: Les and Cliff Campbell; her grandchildren: Russell Neibauer, Julie (Shane) Radomske, Dean (Dena) Marriott, Scott Marriott (Nichole Klingbell), Michael Rilling; and step grandchildren: Walter Rogers, Cameron Larocque, Cory (Astra) Larocque, Carmella (Trevor) Green as well as numerous great grandchildren.
We know our mom would not want people endangering their lives travelling because of the cold and snowy weather, therefore, we will be holding an internment in Trochu in the spring at a date yet to be determined.
There will be a small service at Red Deer Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2 pm, 6150-67 Street for those that wish to brave the weather.
Our mom is now reunited with her best friend, our dad. May God bless her and keep her safe in his arms.
Thanks go out to the staff at the Red Deer Hospital for the superior care and comfort that mom received during her last days.
