LAVERGNE Mr. Frank Lavergne passed away peacefully with family present on October 10, 2005 at the Rosefield Center, Innisfail at the age of 83 years. Frank was born July 9, 1922 in Ottawa, Ontario and married the Late Eunice (Seid) Lavergne on August 2, 1945. They had three children, Herb, Lou and Vicky. He joined the Armed Forces in 1939 and served in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean and Continental Europe. After the war Frank reenlisted and served with the RCEME on several Military bases in Ontario. When Frank retired in 1966, the family moved from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Vancouver, B.C.. While there, he worked as a Commissionaire until they moved to Red Deer in 1989. Frank was predeceased by his wife Eunice in June, 2000. He leaves to mourn his three children, Herb (Carol) Lavergne, Lou (Manja) Lavergne all of Red Deer and Vicky (Peter) Schneider of Yucca Valley, California as well as eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. A private family memorial service is to be held. Cremation and arrangements entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB.
