August 1, 1940 - November 11, 2018
Lawrence Alfred Paull of Bentley, Alberta passed away on November 11, 2018 at the Lacombe Hospital at the age of 79.
Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his stepson Brian Weber (Shannon) of new South Wales Australia, his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by Joyce his wife of 43 years on September 26, 2018. Also predeceased by his parents Jack and Stella Paull and brother Edward Paull. Lawrence was born in Lacombe in 1940 to Jack and Stella Paull. He was raised on the family farm near Rainy Creek and went to school in Bentley. Throughout the years his love for animals was always strong. In his younger days he was very active in 4H and later active in the raising Charolais and Longhorn cattle. Lawrence also worked in the oil industry throughout the years.
Lawrence met Joyce in 1966 and they married in 1975 and moved onto a patch of the home farm land where they lived together until their passing. Lawrence's days on earth were filled with lots of heart, many smiles, good friends, lots of adventures, many kinds of animals, big and small, many vehicles of all shapes and sizes and he enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Lawrence was a friend to all. He has a special place in many hearts leaving many fond cherished memories for each of us to share. Thank you to the staff at Lacombe Hospital for their compassionate care. A special thank you to the ones who did their utmost best to help care for the animals and were dedicated themselves to bring comfort and tend to Lawrence's needs after the passing of Joyce and until his passing.
