It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lee at the age of 72.
He moved to Red Deer at the age of five and stayed a true Albertan. His job in the oil patch took him all over the world; Alaska, The North Sea, South America, Israel, The Middle East, and Scotland to name a few.
Lee was a man of great wisdom intellect and humor. Anyone who "tried" to beat him at trivial pursuit soon found that out. He was a great storyteller and teacher to all that had the opportunity to sit and speak with him.
Lee is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy, his son Kenneth Davies (Sabrina), his grandchildren Tara and Brandon Davies (Kristy) and his great grandson William. Lee was also survived by his in-laws, Louise Victor (Martin Layne), Linda Victor, Bob Victor and the rest of the Victor clan. He will be missed at our family reunions.
At Lee's request there will be no services conducted. A graveside memorial will be scheduled at a later date to inter his ashes. Those wishing to express condolences may make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name.
Condolences can be left for the family at www.eventidefuneralchapels.com
