VANDER LEEK 1934 - 2006 Mr. Cornelis (Casey) Vander Leek of Red Deer was granted fullness of life at the age of 72 years, surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 22, 2006. Casey was born in Andyk, Holland on June 14, 1934. He will be forever remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife, Gloria of 46 years, his three children, Donna (Tim) Warner of Airdrie, Alberta; Shirley (Roger) McAllister of Red Deer; Richard (Wilma) Vander Leek also of Red Deer; his nine grand- children, Miranda, Michael, Lisa, Adam, Vanessa, Matthew, Justine, Karissa and Brayden and his great grandson, Logan. Casey is also survived by his brother, George of Rocky Mountain House and his two sisters, Greta (Frits) and Thea (Henk) of Holland and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents in Holland and a sister-in-law, Barbara Vander Leek of Rocky Mountain House. A Public Funeral Service will be held at First Christian Reformed Church, 16 McVicar Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at the Alto – Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
