Leo Joseph Belanger

April 19, 1936 - November 19, 2022
In loving memory of our father, Leo Joseph Belanger, who passed away on November 19th, 2022 in Red Deer Alberta. Leo was born in Douglas, Ontario on April 19th, 1936 to Ambrose and Emma (Beaudry) Belanger.
Leo is predeceased by his beloved wife Rose Anne Belanger and daughter Dee-Anna Ritchie (Mark). Leo was a loving Father and Grandfather and leaves to mourn his children John Coules (Norie), Christopher Belanger (Tracine) and Wayne Belanger (Jennifer), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Leo lived and raised his family with Rose in Red Deer, Alberta and enjoyed his last years in Sylvan Lake with his eldest son John.
Our Dad was the sort of father one hopes for. His unwavering support inspired his children with confidence. He was a giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with strength and courage. He was a long time active volunteer both with youth —particularly in hockey — and those in later-life care.
Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to. Funeral services will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, December 2nd, 2022 in Red Deer, Alberta at 13:30.
