December 25, 1956 - September 2, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leo Duke Masko on September 2, 2018.

Leo will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughter Ashley (Travis) Lamoureux and their children McKinley and Merrick; his son Alex Masko (Rebecca) and their children Peyton and Harper; his loving fiance Lora; brother John (Bev); sister Shirley and by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Doris; brother, Bob and sister Geraldine. Leo was born in Preecville, Saskatchewan on December 25, 1956. To those who knew him well, Leo will be remembered as someone who loved all things outdoors. He spent much of his spare time camping, quading, fishing, hunting and most of all, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He had a passion for work and a strong work ethic. He began his career in construction in the 70's and left Saskatchewan shortly after to advance his career. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and then moved into the oil industry where he worked on the pipeline.

A Celebration of Leo's Life will be held on Saturday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45 Street, Red Deer. The family requests guests wear their favorite pair of jeans and t-shirt to the memorial as Leo was not the type to dress up. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to STARS Air Ambulance. Condolences can be left for the family at www.eventidefuernalchapel.com
