1944 - 2014
I said "God please take him and wrap him in your arms" and he did. On Sunday, November 16th, 2014 Leon passed away with his family at his side holding his hands and holding the space of love and comfort. Leon grew up in Castor AB, and in 1969 he married his sweet heart Donna. They were blessed with two beautiful children Nolin and Nicole, and were later gifted with two loving grandchildren Abigail and Sage. Leon was a dedicated Realtor in Red Deer for 17 years, and passed the real estate torch to both of his kids. Leon was loved by many and his kind heart and friendly ways made it really easy to be his friend. His greatest treasure in life was his family and he showed his dedication by attending all of their events, watching soccer games, and enjoying every holiday throughout the years. He was a kind gentle soul, and was always willing to share a story, or his funny humor, or his signature crooked smile. Leon was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Leon's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Black Knight Inn, 2929-50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta at 1:00 pm.
