DUNK Leonard James Dunk crossed over at the Innisfail Hospital on June 25th, 2008 at the age of 85 years following a short illness. Leonard was a long time farmer in the Oklahoma district of central Alberta moving off the farm into Innisfail in 1988. Leonard had a full, healthy and wonderful life enjoying "retirement" after farming. He fulfilled a love of travel making over 60 different trips, many with his special friend Molly, to locations scattered around the globe, his favorite being Alaska. His other main passion bowling was enjoyed into his 84th year. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Marjorie, brother Geoff, nephew Leslie and special friend Molly. He is survived by his nieces Carol, of Calgary, AB; Nancy of Kamloops, BC; nephews Ian of Blairmore, AB; Brian of Calgary, AB and numerous great nieces and nephews. He will remain in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2:00pm from Metcalf Funeral Chapel, Innisfail. Condolences to the family may be forwarded from www.mem.com.
