LAWRENCE Leonard "Lou" James May 5, 1945 – December 24, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce that Lou passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 63 on December 24, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Marg, his daughters Lisa (Robert) Able of Evansburg, Lori (Rodney) Craven of Lacombe; his cherished grandchildren Kathryn, Emily and Adam. He will also be sadly missed by his mom Margaret Lawrence of Sylvan Lake, brothers Ray (Lynne) Lawrence of Benalto, Ron Lawrence of Sylvan Lake and his sister Lois (Hugh) McPherson of Red Deer; brothers-in-law Frank (Sandi) Olson of Calgary and Bruce (Viv) Olson of Australia; several nieces and nephews and all of his friends. He was predeceased by his dad Myron in 1982. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Lou lived a life of love of the environment and care for others. For the past two years, the assistance he received from the ALS Society, the support of his coffee crew at the A & W and all those who supported him with his struggle with ALS is truly appreciated and a reflection of the life he lead. A Celebration of Leonard's Life will be held at the Alliance Community Church, 4404 47 Ave, Sylvan Lake on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House.
