SCOTT (nee Rodtka) Letha Olive Born on November 8, 1919 in Rocky Mountain House Alberta, passed away quietly on January 21, 2007 in Nanaimo, BC. Letha is predeceased by: her first husband Albert Molander, sister Hazel Anderson, brother Karl Rodtka and her second husband Edgar Scott. She is survived by: son Boyd Rhoe, stepson Roland Scott and stepdaughter Carole Stocker, grandchildren: Shannon Molander, Tanis Waldo, Tammy Roland, Sven Molander, Juanita Molander, Letha Lagona, Avary Scott, and Tayla Scott, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, niece: Denise Ritchie and nephews: Dwight and Duane Rodtka, and especially Craig Stevenson who was a good friend and support to Letha in the last several years. Letha grew up on a farm in Rocky Mountain House where she developed her domestic ways and pioneer spirit. She was a happy, practical and optimistic person who enjoyed people, she was always ready to put on the kettle and have a visit. She was a great gardener and spent many hours enjoying her flowers and vegetables. She loved dogs and always had a canine friend, her last being Oscar that her and Craig had adopted together. She was an active member of the Church of The Nazarene where she made many friends that she often called her "church family" Letha will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC on Monday, January 29, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Nawrocki officiating. Reception to follow.
