NAURBOL Lilly It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lilly Naurbol (nee Larsen) in her 85th year. Lilly passed away May 14, 2009 in the Red Deer Hospital after a prolonged illness fought with courage and optimism. Lilly joins Verner, her husband of 60 years (who has been waiting for her to join him in skoal with a schnapps since February 14, 2007). A very warm and heartfelt thank you to the staff and caregivers of the east wing at Valley Park Manor where Lilly was safe, comfortable and well treated in her final years. Special thanks to Jennifer Fabian, whose energy, loving care and reassuring smile helped Lilly immeasurably. To Dr. L. Dukeshire and the palliative care staff of unit 33 of the Red Deer Hospital, our deepest gratitude for their generous and compassionate care during Lilly's last days. Lilly always enjoyed time spent chatting with friends and family. If you wish to honor her memory, please enjoy time spent around a table with good food, good friends, good conversation and good cheer. Mother, we will miss you always and forever.
