With sadness, we announce the passing of our loved one, age 65, at the Red Deer Hospice, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Red Deer, AB. Linda was raised in the Waskasoo area of Red Deer. She married her high school sweetheart Ted Stephens in 1969. Life took them to Saskatchewan, Ontario, and then back to Alberta, in their 45 years of marriage. Pre-deceased by her parents Hank and Dorothy Bohn, Linda is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband Ted. 2 sons, Kirk (Maryann) and Jason (partner Kim Kirkwood) Grandchildren Ben, Joe and Cooper. Step grandchildren Kim and Candace Prins, Alycia Dingman, Brady and Gavin Jewan. Step great grandchildren Madden Smith and Brooklyn Dingman. Sisters Sharon Perkins, Shelly Brinson (Nelson), Brother Terry Bohn (Linda), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & in-laws. A special thanks to the caring doctors and nurses at the Royal Alexander Hospitals’ Robins Pavilion (2 West) and the Red Deer Hospice, who provided exceptional care and support to Linda during her battle. In honour of Linda’s wishes, a small intimate gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Red Deer Hospice Society.
