FLANAGAN Lois Mary Joyce Flanagan passed away quietly on July 23, 2008 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Lois was born Feb 16, 1937 in Calgary to John and Gladys (Ida) Ralston. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Fred) Thomson of Red Deer and grandchildren Tricia (Dan) McClaflin of Edmonton, Candice (Peter) Jorgesen of Edmonton and Jonathan of Red Deer; and by her son, Michael (Julie) Hatfield of Delburne and grandchildren Jenica, Austin, and Melinda. She also leaves two sisters, Mavis (Craig) Erwin of Calgary, Gail (Paul) Schaefer of Red Deer, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and special friend George Erfle of Calgary. Special thanks to Lois' home care ladies, the emergency response team, emergency room staff, and palliative care staff who attended her. A Graveside Memorial service will be held on Saturday August 16th at 2:00 pm at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer County, A.B. Memorial donations in Lois Flanagan's name may be made to the Red Deer Regional Hospital or the charity of one's choice. Condolences can be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
