After a long battle with cancer, Lorna died peacefully in her bed with her son at her side on July 9, 2020. She had just celebrated her 70th birthday surrounded by her family and favourite things.
Lorna will be treasured in the hearts of her son, Michael (Liz), sister, Lynne Hewson (Rick) and family, and her grandchildren: Samantha Campbell, Jacob Rennie, and Katie Rennie. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Rennie, her parents, Connie & Red Anderson, and her grandson, Brandon Campbell.
Lorna loved her home at Sylvan Lake and always wanted everyone to appreciate the outdoors. Take in the beauty of nature and remember her when the sun warms your face, when the wind blows, and the birds sing. Enjoy the outdoors with her.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service to honour Lorna will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Alberta Humane Society.
