LOXAM 1920- 2008 Agnes Ina Loxam (nee Scott), passed away at the Red Deer Nursing Home on Monday, January 28, 2008, at the age of 87 years. Agnes was born on September 10, 1920 at Invergordon, Scotland and immigrated to Canada at an early age. Agnes and her husband resided in Red Deer most of their lives, residing in the Westpark area where they raised their family and made many friends. She worked for many years at the Eaton's Lunch Counter, Westpark Lunch and Westpark Nursing Home. Agnes loved to cook and was well known for those meals she made and the desserts that followed. She also loved spending time taking care of her garden. Agnes leaves to mourn two sons, Bob (Freda) of Swift Current, Ed (Peggy) and special grandson Jason all of Red Deer, seven grandchildren, a sister, Alice (Walter) Bayko of Red Deer, special sister-in-law, Doreen (George) Swinburne, special friend, Cindy Elander and family and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John (Val), four brothers and a sister. A Funeral Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer.
