REDEL, Lucille Florence
It is with sadness that we announce that Lucille Florence Redel passed away on December 19th, 2017 in Courtenay, British Columbia.
Lucille was born November 27, 1919 in Castor, Alberta to Pedr and Helen Hauer.
She is survived by brother Laverne (Donna) of Lacombe, Alberta and brother in law Alec Dubas of Red Deer, Alberta, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Gordon in 2013 as well as by brothers Alan, Wilmer, Orland and sisters Irene and Dorothy.
Lucille will be greatly missed by her children Ken (Serene), Murray (Elaine), Bonnie Seeley (Doug), Evan (Sheila), Rick (Barb), 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
During her life Lucille was a school teacher who loved travelling, being a member of the Edsel Club, her grandkids, big family gatherings, and was a great cook who loved laughter.

A service will be held January 27, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Blackfalds Community Hall.
