Lucille FROEHLICH

FROEHLICH Lucille Mary Froehlich Passed Away on March 14, 2006 in Red Deer, Alberta. She was born May 5, 1916 in Marquis, Sask. She is survived by her loving children Connie (Jim) DeZutter, Norm (Iona) Froehlich, Harv (Cheryl) Froehlich, Six grandchildren - Shane (Kirsten) DeZutter; Sheri (Vince) May; Kerri (Rob) Manca; Kent Froehlich, Craig & Meghan Froehlich. Four great grand- children - Cartar, Jaycee, Nash May and Madelyn DeZutter. Lucille was predeceased by her husband Tom Froehlich in 1986. Lucille received her early education in Marquis, Saskatchewan. In 1938, Lucille entered nursing training at the Grey Nun’s Hospital in Regina. In 1946 she married Tom Froehlich. After being blessed with three children, she began working full time at the Providence Hospital in Moose Jaw, Sask. Lucille and Tom moved from Marquis, Sask. to Red Deer, AB in 1983, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Lucille was very active in the Catholic Church through-out her life. Her caring nature was evident in her many hours of volunteering. She had been a CWL member for 58 years and assisted with the RCIA for many years. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to different sporting activities and was their number one cheer leader. Her creative endeavors included spending time on her knitting machine, doing crafts and writing poems. A celebration of her life will be held at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Marquis, Sask. on Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Prayers will be held at Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
