Lydia POLSON

POLSON Lydia Polson (nee Brulhart) passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Care Centre on July 10, 2009 at the age of 79. She is survived by her husband, Elver, after 55 years of marriage, her brother John Brulhart of Vancouver, her daughter Verdele of Oakville, her son Richard and his wife Teresa of Vancouver, her son Timothy and his wife Bev of Tees, her son Jordan and his wife Kathleen of Red Deer, and her daughter Lorraine of Red Deer. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Nathanael, Denver, Courtney, Casey, Faye, and Ami and nine great-grandchildren: Karina, Natalea, Jenica, Wyatt, Brendan, Danica, Paige, Gage, and Tatum. Lydia is pre-deceased by her mother Bessie, her father Severin, and her brothers Harold and Martin. Lydia will be remembered for her selfless serving of family and friends, her quiet courage and acceptance of life’s difficulties, and her great Chinese Food. We miss her terribly but we know she is enjoying the fullness of heaven where we will join her some day. What a day that will be! Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120, Highway 2A, Lacombe Alberta, on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:00 pm. A celebration of Lydia’s life will be held at the Clive Baptist Church, Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00pm. If Family of friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Canadian Bible Society, 10 Carnforth Road, Toronto Ontario, M4A 2S4, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
