WARREN Lyla Mae June 21, 1917 - Jan. 09, 2009 Lyla Mae Trenaman was born to George & Eliza of the Trenville district. She was raised in the Trenville area going to Service and Lousana schools. Lyla married Louis Reynolds Warren of the Delburne area November 4, 1937 where she lived for the rest of her life on the family farm. She is survived by her children Elizabeth (Betty) & (William) Brewster, Margaret & (John) Hilborn, Wayne, Hank (Linda) & Doug (Sandy). Numerous grand children and great grandchildren. Lyla was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, loving husband Louis in 1980, one daughter in-law Sherry Warren 2007 and a great grandson Kyle Brewster in 2008. Lyla helped build the family farm doing any and every job that came along from helping with the trap line to making sure that all the chores where done right. Hardly missing a day in 62 years of milking cows. Lyla had a love for her large garden spending most of her evenings there after a hard days work. There was always lots for every family. The coffee pot was always hot at Lyla's house as there were always people coming and going. Or a meal if your timing was right. In the later years she cherished these visits. Memorial Service will be held at the Delburne Community Hall Wednesday Jan. 14 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Stars", the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 202, 5208-53 Ave. Red Deer AB.
