Lyle passed away peacefully with his best friend by his side. His battle with COPD had ended at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
Lyle is survived by his best friend, Lene Larsen; mother Dorothy Lysons; sister Iona Froehlich (Norm); nephew Craig Froehlich (Katelyn); niece Meghan Froehlich (Kelly); great niece Sydney Froehlich; numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Merle, in 1966.
His career as a line worker with AGT and Telus spanned many decades. He loved this life on the road, exploring much of Alberta's beauty. For many years, Lyle's love for road travel took him to many parts of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Respecting Lyle's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebratory gathering will be planned for a later date.
