Mabel MOORE

MOORE Mabel Leola “Lee” Moore of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at Red Deer Regional Hospital on April 7, 2006 at the age of 88. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta she moved with her family to Pinehill District. In 1937 she married John Moore of Ridgewood. They farmed and raised their 5 children in the Ridgewood District until John’s passing. Later she moved to Red Deer where she worked and volunteered until her passing. She is survived by her two sons; Bill (Vi) Moore of Red Deer, Dennis (Angie) Moore of Red Deer three daughters; Gwen (Bob Reid) Pixley of Kamloops, BC., Maxine (Gary) Stuart of Red Deer and Marge (Dennis) Campbell of Calgary. She will always be remembered by her thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grand- children and four extended grandchildren. Leola was predeceased by her husband John Moore (1967) and her granddaughter, Debbie Pixley. A Funeral Service was held at St. Luke's Anglican Church (4929 54th street, Red Deer) on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. John McKay officiating.
