PATTERSON (nee Watt) Mabel Myrtle November 11, 1918 - March 11, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of Mabel Patterson announce her passing on Wednesday March 11, 2009, at the age of 90 years at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her son Bob (Joyce) of Red Deer, her daughter-in-law Gisele of Regina, SK, and her grandchildren Heather, Cheryl, and Rob. Also left to mourn her passing are her sister-in-laws Edna Knight of Victoria, BC, and Iris Watt of Winnipeg, MB; her brother Freddy Watt (Ann) of Winnipeg, MB, her nephews John and his family of Winnipeg, MB, David, of Winnipeg, MB her niece Ruth and her family of Kenora, ON; as well as many other friends and relatives. Mabel was predeceased by her husband loving Bob, her son Bill, and her brothers Jimmy and Robbie. Mabel will remembered for her sharp wit, love of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, her cribbage skills, of course her luck at bingo and by all her friends at Legacy Estates. A Celebration of Life Service for the late Mabel Patterson will be held on Monday March 16, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB. with Reverend Don Lewis officiating. A graveside memorial service will be held in Winnipeg, MB in May. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel's memory can be made to The Salvation Army, 4837 - 54 Street, Red Deer, AB, T4N 2G5.
