MacDONALD Donna 1957 - 2009 The family of Donna MacDonald announce her peaceful passing at home in the loving arms of her husband John, on Monday September 7th, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Donna is survived by her husband and best friend John MacDonald and their two children; Jenna and Ben. She is also survived by six sisters; Lynn Madge, Judy Carroll, Jackie (Reagh) Burgess, Betty (Dan) MacDonald, Pat (Graham) Lee, Sherry (Lance) Sharp, three brothers; John (Joan) Morrison, Denny Morrison, Danny (Shelly) Morrison, mother-in-law Doreen MacDonald, father-in-law Angus (Gladys) MacDonald, sister-in-law Bonnie (Tony) Bliek, and brother-in-law, Bill (Brenda) Macdonald. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many loved friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents Chester and Catherine Morrison, brother-in-law Basil Madge, and her nephew Timothy Madge. A Celebration of Life Service for the late Donna MacDonald will be held Saturday September 19, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 - Ross Street, Red Deer, AB with Reverend Fran Hare officiating. A reception will follow at Festival Hall, 4214 - 58 Street, Red Deer, AB. A private family internment will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery. Donna's family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. Graham, Myrna and the entire staff of The Central Alberta Cancer Center, Linda and the entire staff of Diagnostic Imaging at Red Deer Regional Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Lori McFadyen for her friendship and compassion to Donna. Thank you to the many family and friends for their support.
