MANCUSO, 1930 - 2006 Mr. Gregorio 'Greg' Mancuso, beloved husband of Mrs. Immacolata Mancuso of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the age of 76 years. Greg was born on September 18, 1930 at Cicala, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in April of 1955 and began his first job in Canada with CP Rail. On June 4, 1955, Greg married his beautiful bride, Immacolata. Greg started his own company, Mancuso Janitorial Service in 1958. He expanded in the 1960’s becoming a pioneer and leader in the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry, all the while supporting his family and friends in their own work and careers. Greg’s great passions in life were fishing, making wine and hosting barbecues for all of his family. Greg will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and dear friends. Greg leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 51 years, Immacolata and his children: son, Domenico (Debbie) and children, Greg (Carmen), Andrea, Daniel (Vanessa) and Antony; son, Paolo (Cynthia), son, Roy (his friend Janet) his children, Bradly and Jason; daughter, Saveria (Todd Bernard) and child, Anika; son, Angelo (Leanne) and children, Milo and Seanna. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Concettina, Filippina (Franceso), Pasquale (Tina), Filippo (Maria), Maria (Giacomo), Angela (Giuseppe Antonio) and his sister-in-law, Concetta, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Greg was predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Raffaela, a sister, Carmella, a brother, Giuseppe and a nephew, Pino Gigliotti. Prayers will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 – 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. A Public Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 – 48A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
