HAWKSWORTH Marc Daniel Hawksworth passed away in Mirror, Alberta on January 14, 2006 at the age of 20 years. Marc was born in Red Deer on October 23, 1985. Marc attended school in Mirror from Kindergarten through Grade 9 and then went on to Lacombe Composite High School where he graduated from Grade 12. He was a good student and received awards for his fine work in carpentry. Marc was a conscientious young man who succeeded in anything he turned his hand to. He began developing his good work ethics by undertaking a paper route during grade school, delivering the Red Deer Advocate in Mirror for a period of three years. Being a homebody, Marc chose to work close to the home and family he loved, and began a career with the Tire Shop in Bashaw. This gave him the opportunity to work on his car, which was his first passion. He liked to fish, but also enjoyed traveling around Alberta, just to visit new places, see new things, always returning home. Marc also enjoyed the company of his many friends and was well liked by all those who knew him. His love for his family was expressed by his thoughtfulness and caring ways, always remembering them wherever he was. Marc is survived by his parents, Lisa and Walter Hawksworth; one sister, Mandy; two half-sisters Rosallee and Tamara; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors in and around Mirror. A Funeral Service for Marc will be held in the Mirror Community Hall on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Mirror School or a charity of your choice.
