Margaret CORRIGAN

CORRIGAN Margaret Elizabeth Corrigan of Red Deer, Alberta passed away in the Palliative Care Unit of the Red Deer Hospital on April 2, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Beth (Harvey) Scott, Pat (Dick) Stout, Amy Teeling and Colleen (Ken) Crawford, and sons Michael (Joanne) and Rick (Sue). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, sister Irene Barbon, in laws Mary Stoll, Anne Acton, Lucille Pennington, Fred (Irene) Corrigan, Norm (Heather) Corrigan, and Shirley (Don) Glover, and a great many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by loving husband Tom, favourite brother Jim Stoll, and many cherished inlaws and relatives of her large, caring family. After growing up in Youngstown, Alberta she moved to Valley Center in 1937 where she married Tom Corrigan. She was always involved with the community and church (WI, CWL) but mostly involved with her family. Her family would like to thank the staff at Unit 21 and Unit 32P at the Red Deer Hospital where she spent her last two weeks. The Paliative Care unit was very supportive in Mom's last few days. Donations would be appreciated in Margaret's name to the charity of your choice, or the Paliative Unit at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7 at St. Mary's Chuch in Red Deer at 1:00 pm. and a reception to follow at the chuch hall.
