It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Lilly Ennis, a long time resident of the Caroline area. Margaret passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the age of 92 years. She was the second of six children born to parents Oscar and Mary Johnson on September 11, 1924. She leaves to mourn five children, Samuel Dale Ennis of Thorhild, Delbert (Peggy) Ennis of Caroline, Dwayne (Sharon) Ennis of Innisfail, Sharon Greenlee (Maurice Bodin) of Markerville, and Gerald (Debbie) Ennis of Gleniffer Lake; sister Rose Smith of Caroline, brother Louis (Evelyn) Johnson of Sundre; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her brother Gordon Johnson, sisters Ellen Sicotte, Florence Murray, and stepsister Ruth Furth of Gresham, Oregon.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. (viewing from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.) at the Church of the Nazarene, Caroline, Alberta. Interment will follow at Caroline Cemetery.
