HENKEL
Mrs. Margaret Henkel "Peggy" of Red Deer passed away peacefully at Extendicare Michener Hill, on February 7th, 2018. Margaret was born in Whitburn, Scotland April 11th, 1923. She met and married Wilfred Henkel in Scotland during World War II and came to Canada as a War Bride in 1946.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Wilfred on January 23, 1992 and son in law Robert Lemke on February 27, 2013.
Survived by six children Doreen (Jim), Sheila, Linda (Alvin), Brian (Lynn), Brenda (Stan) and Norman (Janice) along with 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the Blackfalds United Church on Monday February 12th at 1 pm with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CNIB or Blackfalds United Church. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
