PIETSCH Margaret Mary On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, Margaret Pietsch of Red Deer passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband Ernest in 1989, she is also lovingly remembered by her children, Daryl of Vancouver, BC, Ron of Montreal, QC, Murray of Red Deer, Peggy of Calgary, Debbie of Edmonton, 12 Grand children and one great grandchild. Margaret was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan in 1926 and worked for Imperial Oil until she met her husband Ernest in Oxbow, SK. They were married in Regina in 1954 and moved to High Level, Alberta in 1958 where Margaret remained until 2006. Due to her failing health she moved to Red Deer in 2006 where she resided with her son and his family. Margaret enjoyed working in her gardens at the farm and at her home. Her hobbies included raising honey bees, reading, the Young & Restless and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Hearts Church in Red Deer on November 7, 2008 and she was buried in the High Level Cemetery on November 10, 2008 right next to her husband Ernest.
