PLASHKA, Margaret G. ( Stringer, nee Kendrew) Margaret passed away on April 7, 2006 at 89 years of age at the Hardisty Nursing Home in Edmonton. She was born on January 27, 1917 to Joseph and Elizabeth Kendrew in the Edwell district. In 1940 she married Grant Stringer. Grant died overseas in 1944 serving his country. In 1957 Margaret moved to Edmonton where she met and later married Metro Plashka. Margaret was predeceased by her husbands Grant and Metro, brothers Sturdy, Gordon and Roy Kendrew, sister Lella Bodwell, and nephews Jack and Howard Bodwell. She is survived by sister-in-law Lizzie Kendrew and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services to be held at Park Memorial Funeral Home 9709-111 Ave. Edmonton on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:30 A.M.
