Mrs. Marie Barnec passed away at Red Deer Regional Hospital on November 3, 2018; surrounded by her loving family: husband of 65 years Dan Barnec; her beloved daughters and their families: Connie (Wayne) Heckenliable, Carey (Chad) children Samuel, Noah and Lukas; Tammy (Charles) children Hailey, Abigail and Brooke; Janie (Stephen) Rock, Clayton (Sarah) children Aiden, Jake and Layla; Carson (Jan) children Addison and Brinley; Caide (Ashley) children Declan, McKenna and Keaton; Marla (Dan) Newton, Janelle (Mike) children Weston and Bennett; Chad (Nikki); Rayna (Steve); Danielle; Karen Barnec (Ivor); Shelly Barnec; Holly McNabb, Jolene (Josh) and Sheldon; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Predeceased by parents Elsie and Earl Cruickshank; her sister Maxine DeMan; her kindred sister Helen Dyson and son-in-law Larry McNabb. Marie was born May 12, 1932 in Stettler, Alberta to parents Elsie and Earl Cruickshank.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, 4707 - 70 Street, Stettler, Alberta.
