LIDSTER Marie Elizabeth “Onagh” Lidster of Lacombe passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2005. Onagh will be remembered as a strong, courageous lady with the ability to overcome life’s challenges with determination, resiliency and humour. Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 29th, at 7:30 pm at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church 5128 53 Street, Lacombe. A funeral mass will be held the following morning Friday, September 30th, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s. Beginning at noon, following mass, relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Onagh’s life at a luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 5138- 49 Street, Lacombe. A private family interment is planned. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jack, her children Geri (George), Anne (Robin), Walter, her grandchildren, Michelle (Doug), Cary (Shane), Dave, Emmett, Joshua, Sarah and great grandchildren Emma, Seth, Jacob, Amber Elizabeth and Luke. She also leaves her dear sister-in-law Nina DeForest of Regina, three brothers’ in law and their families. Onagh will be fondly remember by a large group of close friends from her church, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #79, the Kozy Korner, the Lacombe Nursing Home Auxiliary and the Lacombe Seniors bowling league.
