WESTGAARD Marie Carole Westgaard (nee Shaw), beloved wife of Edgar Westgaard of Red Deer, Alberta passed away suddenly on February 9, 2009, in the Red Deer Hospital. Marie was born June 16, 1945 in Prince George and spent most of her life there. Marie and Ed lived in Alberta only a few short years. Marie is survived by her loving and devoted husband Edgar, children Cheryl (Jim) Goodyear, Blair (Donna) Westgaard, Dale Westgaard, Karen (Ken) Stratton, Brent (Jennifer) Borrowman, cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Keri, Cassandra, Eric, Alysha, Evan, Emily, little Melissa, brother Morely (Joyce) Shaww, and sister Willa (George) Hall. Predeceased by brother John Allan Shaw and sister Evelyn Brooke. Marie was a wonderful loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. A memorial service will take place Saturday, February 14, 2009 at The Kingdom Hall, 11 Bennett Street, Red Deer. A grave side service will be held in Prince George at a later date to be announced.
