Marina Mansfield, age 83 passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Exterdicare Michener Hill in Red Deer, Alberta after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. Marina was born December 12, 1934 In Lavenham, MB. to Michael and Pauline Tataryn. Marina will be missed by her family: Daughters: Cynthia and Candace, Sons: Tim and Colin; two Grandchildren: Chris Helmer and Patrick Helmer; two Sisters: Ellen Bury and Nell Yapps as well as numerous relatives and friends. Marina was predeceased by her parents: Michael and Pauline; Brothers: John Tataryn, Peter Tataryn, Nick Tataryn, Bill Tataryn; Sisters: Mary Lesney, Lena Fisher, Rose Omischl, Katherine Kruck, Ann Glowa, Doris Michaluk. Marina's remains were cremated by the Red Deer Funeral Home and her sons: Tim and Colin will be taking her ashes to Hillside Cemetery in Portage La Prairie, MB. to be buried with her mom. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
