Marion MORCK

MORCK, Marion Edna August 7, 1919 – October 11, 2005 At the age of 86, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 Marion Morck went on her final trip, to be with God. At 84, she had voluntarily given up driving, but that didn’t stop her. She kept on going, with her trusty green walker and her little pink hat. She kept on swimming, visiting, baking muffins for her whole world, always learning, loving Jeopardy, listening to CBC, sending countless cards and notes of encouragement, reading, studying and underlining in her many worn bibles. She was always so positive saying, “I am so blessed.” It is we who are blessed, Mom. Marion is survived by her sisters Lydia Foster and Myrtle Thackray; in laws Ella (Bob), Thora (Hank), Arla and Florence; children Irene (Mogens), Ruthie (Bill), Johnny (Marg), David (friend Hildegard), Paul (Barb), Eunice (Ron) and Philip (Marie), Alice & Herluf; grandchildren Michelle and Paulette, Keri and Colleen, Genevieve and Melanie, as well as Kristine and Kevin; great grandchildren Amani and Kendle Boyer. She was predeceased by her husband Archie, father Edward Peter Hanson, mother Sena Hanson, sister Marjorie and brother Eddie. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched, including Canada Post, who may be faced with upcoming layoffs as a result of Marion’s passing! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s name to the Bethany Lutheran Church, RR 1, Site 10, Box 16, Innisfail, AB, T4G 1T6 and or Peace Lutheran Church 4033-48th Avenue, Innisfail, AB. T4G 1J6, or a charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Dickson, AB.
