TENHOVE

Marion Rose Tenhove passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 28th, 2014, at the age of 62 years, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Marion is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jim,  daughter Pamela Rommens (Mike), Son Joshua Tenhove (Layla) grandchildren Katelyn, Austin, Colton, Hailey, Jonah, Asher and Gabriel and Mother Madeline Cardinal, siblings Marlene Cook (Duncan), Muriel Dargatz (Darry), Marie Cardinal, Connie Lavelle (John), Alex Cardinal (Lisa), Lorri Parenteau, Kelly Wolvers (Adrean) and Marty Cardinal. Marion was predeceased by her son, Jason Paul Tenhove (1975-1995) and father Alex Cardinal (1925-2005). Marion will also be missed by countless extended family members and many friends and former co-workers. Marion was born July 9th, 1951 in High River, Alberta and was raised in Didsbury and Red Deer. She married Jim in 1971 and they had three Children, Joshua, Pamela and Jason, raising her family in the Red Deer area. Marion began working at Alberta Transportation in Red Deer in 1981, where she remained employed until she retired in 2011, making many lifelong friendships that she cherished dearly. Marion will be remembered for her passion for her family and spending as much time with her precious grandchildren as she possibly could. She also enjoyed travelling, especially with her family and had a great love for gardening, being a member of the Red Deer Garden club for many years. If so desired, donations can be made in Marion's name to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church, this Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 3:00 pm, at 16 Mcvicar Street, Red Deer.
