Mrs. Marla Arlene Newton (nee Barnec) of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 64 years. Marla will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Danny; her children, Janelle (Mike), Chad (Nikki), Rayna (Steve) and Danielle; and her grandchildren, Weston, Bennett, Blake, and Austin. Marla will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Connie (Wayne), Janie (Stephen), Karen (Ivor), Shelly and Holly; her sisters-in-law, Wendy and Shelley; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. Marla was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Dan Barnec and her brother-in-law, Larry. A Celebration of Marla's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Marla's honour may be made directly to the Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre in Red Deer at www.aspirespecialneeds.ca.
