August 25, 1948 - September 17, 2018
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marlene Evelyn Lee at the young age of 70 years on September 17th 2018.
Marlene will be lovingly remembered and missed by her loving husband of 16 years Rod Lee, her children Mike Gagne, Shirley Gagne and Jay(Kris) Lee, as well as grandchildren Vincent, Alex, Trey, Summer and Kole.
She will be sadly missed by mom Illa Jean Wolter and brothers and sisters Marv Wolter, Al (Gunvor) Wolter, Wanda (Ron) Wolter, Ellen (Jerry) Neddow and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Marlene was born on August 25th 1948 in Regina Saskatchewan, she spent most of her adult life in Ontario and moved her family to Alberta in 2001 where she retired.
She will always be remembered for her heart of gold never turning down anyone in need. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends and was always there to talk or just listen.
Services will be held at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45th Street Red Deer, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27th.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Lacombe Hospital and Care Center for their support and care of Marlene and family.
