In Loving Memory (1936-2023) ~
Mr. Marvin Leopold Schmidek, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Extendicare Leduc, at the age of 87 years.
Marvin is lovingly remembered by his wife, Doreen of sixty two years; his children Lea Ann (Peter), Darren (Jody), Darcy (Michelle) and Michele (Dave); nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leopold and Martha Schmidek, his brothers, Gerald, Oscar (infant), Harold (Elsie); and his sisters Gertie (John), Ella (John), Edith (Marvin), and Marlene (Ralph).
Also left to mourn are his sister-in-law, Lydia Schmidek, brother-in-laws Lorence (Mary) Plitt, Edwin (Adella) Plitt and Ken Plitt along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at Mt.
