Marvin MACKIE

Marvin passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on June 5th, following a stroke on May 30, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him as a kind, gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor.

He enjoyed a long career with the Alberta Wheat Pool as a grain buyer and superintendent. In his "retirement", he logged many hours on the highways driving for several dealerships in Red Deer. He loved to explore the West Country on his quad.He is survived by his wife Shirley; son Michael; daughters Linda (Dave) and Karen; step-daughter Gloria (Scott); grandchildren Ryan (Jackie), Jeffery (Jen), Benjamin, Luke (Samantha); Ruger (Amanda), Colton, Sam, Olivia and Jade; step-grandchildren Brea (Aaron), Denae and Brody; great-grandchildren Jayeal, Keenan, Joeseph; step-great-grandchildren Jiraiya, Salem and Trace.

Pre-deceased by mother Senya, step-father George; brother James; daughter Laurie; step-daughter Debbie and step-son Doug. Funeral details will be posted at a later date at www.eventidefuernalchapel.com.
