It is with great sadness that we announce that Mrs. Mary Ann Mason (nee Havell) of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully, after a long and productive life, at Extendicare, Michener Hill, Red Deer on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 100 years.
Mary Ann was born in Stornoway, Saskatchewan on May 12, 1920, and was raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She raised her two children, Doug and Valerie on the Army Base at Suffield Experimental Station, west of Medicine Hat.
Mary Ann also worked as a seamstress, cook and Dietician at different Hospitals, throughout Alberta. She is in heaven now with Gaetane. Rest in peace, Mom, we love you.
Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children, Doug Havell of Red Deer, Alberta and Valerie Osgood of Medicine Hat, Alberta; as well as her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members and dear friends. Mary Ann was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Gaetane Havell.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
