BARTON (Raabis) Mary Violet Jan. 24, 1945 - Aug. 10, 2009 Mary passed away at her home in Rimbey, AB on Monday August 10, 2009 at the age of 64 years. She is survived by her loving children: Kelly (David), Kevin (Mona), and Wendy (Dan); as well as her treasured grandchildren: Logan, Spencer and Danny. Her memory will also be cherished by her sisters: Anne, June (Earl), Donna (Dan) and her brother Fred (Carol). Mary was predeceased by her soul mate Pete Leavitt, her birth parents: Annie Mary Lund and Frank Barton, brothers: Jack, Wesley, Bill and Harold; as well as her adoptive parents: Mr. & Mrs. Walter Crouch and her Uncle Bert Avery. A Celebration of Life Service for the late Mary Violet Barton was held on Friday August 14th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB. A Time of Fellowship and Refreshments with the family will followed at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35, 2810 - Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, AB.
