On December 24, 2009 Mary Orobko of Ponoka passed away at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Peter Orobko (Charlene) of Maple Ridge, BC, Bill Orobko (Anna) of Millet and Joan Linnen (Everett) of Ponoka; her grandchildren Kevin Orobko (Kim), Tracy Smith (Tony), Jane Ropchan (Lorne), Randy Orobko (Kirsten) and Lyndsey Linnen; many great-grandchildren; her sisters Jean Tompkins of Osoyoos, BC, Ethel Chymcyz of Weyburn, SK, Barbara Fahlman and Olga Kingdom (Stan) of Bienfait, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Carl and her sisters Stella Romanack, Victoria Rohatyn, Irene Lucki and Annie Ciepliski. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 with the Interment Service following at Forest Home Cemetery.
