RITCHIE Mary Anelle Jones Mary Anelle Jones Ritchie passed away April 23, 2007 in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center. Mary was the daughter of Norwegian immigrants John and Clara Sjare who settled in the Evarts area of Alberta. Born in 1917 she was predeceased by her parents, three brothers Elmer, Bernard and John. Left to morn her passing are her husband paul Ritchie, two children Toby (Lorae) Sandwell of Surrey, B.C. and Sharie (Mike) Miller of Calgary, step children John (Margaret Oseen) Ritchie of Edmonton, Marvalie (Ken) Ewing of Wabamum, Blaine (Susan) Ritchie of Red Deer and Darcy Ritchie of Lacombe, two sisters in law Heather and Joy Sjare, grandchildren Logan and Maya Miller, Ross Sandwell, Nicole Ritchie-Oseen, Nicholas and Christopher Ewing and several cousins, nieces and good friends. Mary had many fond memories of pupils and friends from teaching experiences in rural and city schools for 30 years. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi and a charter and life member of the Norwegian Luft Hus Society.
